Our goal at Moyes Eye Center is to provide a premium experience to all of our patients undergoing cataract surgery regardless of what options you choose.

 

 

 

Please familiarize yourself with the different options that are available for your cataract surgery and your doctor will review these with you at your cataract evaluation.

Standard Cataract Surgery

The standard procedure has provided great surgical results over the years. All incisions are made by the surgeon with precision scalpels. Astigmatism will not be reduced or corrected. A monofocal lens implant will be used. Glasses will be needed to correct for distance, intermediate and near vision.

LenSx All Laser Incision Package

LenSx laser will create all corneal and cataract incisions. Astigmatism incisions will reduce astigmatism. A monofocal lens implant will be used. Glasses will be needed to correct for distance, intermediate and near vision.

LenSx Distance Package

LenSx laser will create all corneal and cataract incisions. Astigmatism incisions will reduce astigmatism. A monofocal lens implant will be used. LASIK vision correction is included to tune vision for distance as needed. Glasses will be needed to correct for intermediate and near vision.

LenSx Multifocal Package

LenSx laser will create all corneal and cataract incisions. Astigmatism incisions will reduce astigmatism. A multifocal lens implant will be used. LASIK vision correction is included to tune vision as needed. Minimal glasses will be needed to fine tune vision.

Is There An Additional Cost For Cataract Surgical Packages?

Most medical health insurances cover standard cataract surgery other than copays and deductibles.

There are additional fees for the LenSx all laser incision package, LenSx distance package and LenSx multifocal package.
