Facial Filler Injection

Facial fillers are a popular alternative to incisional surgery and allow the restoration of the facial volume that is lost as tissues mature and change.  Facial fillers are frequently used in combination with botulinum toxin to achieve an ideal aesthetic result of treatment.  There are many available facial fillers including the hyaluronic acid family of products that contains Restylane® and Juvaderm®. Fillers are commonly used to replace the lost or deficient volume of the lips; lines around the mouth, facial lines, cheeks, brows; and the dark circles under the eyes.  These types of fillers typically last six months to a year depending on the part of the face and on the material injected.  Filler injection type, amount, and location are tailored individually to reach patient’s aesthetic goals.  At Moyes Eye Center, Dr. Chappell performs all of the facial filler injections personally.  Dr. Chappell will discuss the advantages, disadvantages, risks, and benefits of these treatments during your consultation.
