Andrew L. Moyes, MD, is a board certified ophthalmologist specializing in laser vision correction surgery (LASIK) and cataract surgery. He graduated with honors from the University of Kansas School of Medicine. Dr. Moyes had one year of internal medicine internship at Saint Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City and completed a three-year residency at the University of Michigan’s Kellogg Eye Center.

Following his residency, he enhanced his medical education by completing an additional sub-specialty fellowship in corneal eye disease and refractive surgery at the University of Minnesota. A leader in refractive surgery, Dr. Moyes has performed over 23,000 refractive procedures during his career. He has served as a Clinical Investigator for multiple FDA studies in the area of refractive surgery, cataract surgery, and corneal eye disease.

Dr. Moyes has written numerous educational book chapters and scientific papers and actively participates in a variety of research initiatives. His passion is bringing his patients joy through improved sight, whether he is treating them at home in Kansas City, in surrounding communities or during one of his frequent trips to Haiti.
